Winter is a wonderful time to see migratory waterfowl, and the Richardson Marsh Preserve provides an ideal habitat for them. Join Mindful Birding leader Beth St. George and Land Bank Preserve Steward Amanda Wedow for a bird walk at the new preserve. Bring your binoculars, no birding experience necessary.

Richardson Marsh Preserve is a recent addition to the Land Bank’s Lopez Preserves, with public access anticipated to open in Summer 2024. The 24-acre property will feature a short walking trail through the forest to an overlook of the extensive wetland area.

The event is jointly sponsored by the Lopez Island Library and the Land Bank. Limited space available.
