As with all things farming, haying at Zylstra Lake Preserve went from wait, wait to HURRY UP!

Haylands lessees, Sarah Pope and Adam Greene of Oak Knoll Farm and Bruce Gregory of Mitchell Bay Farm, will be on site baling hay with a cooperative of 13 small farms this weekend. The group is operating an informal hay school to transfer knowledge and skills, and they have carved out some time during this busy season to answer your questions whilst on the property.
