Grab a friend and spend the morning helping tame the sunshine shrub at Turtleback Mountain Preserve!
The yellow flowering shrub is a Class B noxious weed, and while some may find the plant attractive in the landscape, it poses a threat to fragile ecosystems, crowding out native plants.
Meet staff at the North Turtleback Mountain Mountain parking area. Please bring gloves and pruners if you have them, and be sure to dress for the weather.
RSVP’s appreciated but not required. Contact Tanja Williamson at 360-378-4402 or email tanjaw@sjclandbank.org for more information.
The more, the merrier!
