The Field Assistant will participate in a range of activities associated with conservation lands management, including habitat restoration, native plant nursery maintenance, seed collection and processing, trail building and maintenance, weed control, facilities upkeep, resource protection, leading volunteers, preserve monitoring and educating the public on preserve rules and guidelines. The position is based on Orcas Island. The Field Assistant reports to the Preserve Steward and may involve work with other Land Bank staff, contractors, and volunteers.
