NATURE NOTES – A PEEK INTO THE SALISH SEEDS NURSERY

Today’s note is a sneak peek into one of our 2020 San Juan County Fair presentations. Some might even call it a trailer…but for those that haven’t had a chance to make one of the nursery’s past open houses, work parties, or native plant sales, here’s your chance to enjoy a quick, candid tour hosted by nursery manager, Eliza Habegger. The Salish Seeds Project nursery is located at Red Mill Farm on San Juan Island. The San Juan Preservation Trust owns the property and the Land Bank runs the nursery. Grants and private donations have funded nearly all the nursery infrastructure.
