Have you visited Turtleback Mountain Preserve recently?Multiple enhancements have taken place this year, the most recent of which created a better transition at the upper intersection of Morning Ridge trail. Crews from Washington Trails Association and Blackcap Restoration reworked an awkward “S” curve/faux switchback into a proper, graded switchback by building a rock wall to retain the fill material and topsoil and scraping away organic material to reroute the approach.
