A tremendous thank you to the volunteers that helped move – to quote staff member and event lead, Jacob Wagner – “a LOT of firewood” last Sunday. The firewood was excess from an eco-cultural restoration project on Mount Grant focused on forest thinning and was donated to the Joyce L. Sobel Family Resource Center Island Neighbors program. And there is more wood to move! Jacob will host another work party this summer. Stay tuned to our events calendar for details!
