Orcas staff were recently gifted with a sweet surprise: the sighting of a newly hatched Brown creeper! Brown creepers build nests in gaps formed between loose bark and the bole of a tree.
It’ll take about two weeks for this brood to fledge, but if you’re lucky, you may spot an adult “creeper” out on patrol for insects at any of our preserves that feature mature forests.
