The Land Bank is joining forces with Island Rec, the Town of Friday Harbor and more fantastic community organizations to celebrate Arbor Day 2025!

Event Schedule:

3pm to 6pm at Brickworks: A fun and informative afternoon featuring amazing keynote speakers with info about urban forestry, tree planting, and keeping our island safe from fires. Take part in a tree and plant giveaway, cool tree crafts, and a chance to win great prizes like home gardening supplies and native plant seeds in a raffle!

5pm Interpretive Walk at Beaverton Marsh Preserve: Join Salish Seeds Project staff member, Margo Thorpe, for a native plant ID walk  along the Redtail Trail at Beaverton Marsh Preserve.
