Celebrate National Public Lands Day exploring Orcas Island’s newest Preserve from 11am to 3pm!

Staff and commissioners from the Land Bank and San Juan Preservation Trust will be on site to answer your questions, as well as host guided tours. Refreshments and a short photo journal highlighting the preserve-in-the-making will also be available.

NOTE: Due to limited on-site parking, we encourage use of the free, roundtrip shuttle service the Land Bank has arranged for this celebration. Park your car at Orcas Island High School, in the student and guest parking area only; the shuttle will pick up/drop off on the half-hour, starting with a 10:45am pick up at OIHS and concluding with a shuttle leaving the Preserve at 2:45pm.
