The Land Bank is teaming up with Island Rec, the Town of Friday Harbor and more fantastic community organizations to celebrate Arbor Day 2025!

Event Schedule:

3pm to 5pm at Brickworks: A fun and informative afternoon featuring amazing keynote speakers with info about urban forestry, tree planting, and keeping our island safe from fires. 5pm Interpretive Walk at Beaverton Marsh Preserve: Join Salish Seeds Project staff member, Margo Thorp, as well as Scott Baker (Keynote Speaker/Consulting Arborist), Carson Sprenger (Rainshadow Consulting), and Heidi Asplund (DNR) for native tree ID walks along the Redtail Trail at Beaverton Marsh Preserve.
