Following careful planning and a recent presentation about the project, the Conservation Land Bank, the Island Conservation Corps and Rain Shadow Consulting have begun thinning several forested acres near Turtleback Mountain Preserve’s South Entrance. Stay tuned for an opportunity in the spring to visit the work area and to learn more about this and other efforts to improve habitat and forest health.
